For over 35 years, UC Berkeley Model United Nations (UCBMUN) has provided collegiate delegates with the opportunity to travel and compete in collegiate-level Model UN conferences. Our goal has always been to inspire students to challenge themselves in the realm of policy-based problem solving.

In 2019, UCBMUN founded BearMUN, a high-school Model UN conference dedicated to extending our educational mission beyond the collegiate level. We pride ourselves on the competitive experience and creative committees we provide for delegates. As the 6th-ranked collegiate team in North America, UCBMUN is home to the top collegiate delegates in the country, and we are excited to pass our knowledge onto you! BearMUN 2025 will be the 7th and largest iteration of this conference to date, with 16 committees and nearly 500 delegates in attendance.

Our conference unfolds on the historic campus of the University of California, Berkeley, the #1 public university in the country. Our campus is home to dozens of historic landmarks like Sather Gate and the Campanile, natural beauties like Strawberry Creek, and the best food in the Bay Area. Our secretariat is excited to welcome you to Berkeley this December!
