Early Registration: 05/01/25 - 08/31/25
Registration Fee: $65 per delegate
Regular Registration: 09/01/24 -10/15/24
Registration Fee: $75 per delegate
Late Registration: 10/16/24 - 11/23/24
Registration Fee: $95 per delegate
Withdrawal and Refund
BearMUN’s secretariat permits refunds and withdrawals with certain limitations. To apply for a refund, please contact cos-external@bearmun.berkeley.edu as soon as possible. All refunds and withdrawals will be determined on a case-by-case basis based on the following policy*:
Fees for delegate changes prior to September 1st, 2025, are eligible for a 100% refund.
Fees for delegate changes made between September 1st, 2025 and October 15th, 2025 are eligible for 50% refund.
Fees for delegate changes made after October 15th, 2025, are ineligible for a refund.
Delegates must submit a notice of withdrawal from BearMUN 2025 by November 1st, 2025.
Payment is expected within 25 days of invoicing. If you do not pay by the deadline, your delegation will be removed from early registration, will have to register again during normal registration, and will have to pay the registration price of the new registration round.
Once normal registration begins, payment is expected within 25 days of invoicing; overdue payments will be charged a late penalty of 5% per week.
*BearMUN’s secretariat permits appeals of this policy in extreme circumstances. If a delegate or delegation would like a refund larger than permitted by this policy, please message cos-external@bearmun.berkeley.edu.
Petition for Fee Reduction
The BearMUN 2025 Secretariat understands delegations and delegates originate from different socioeconomic backgrounds and conditions. Income and social disparities may impact delegations’ ability to attend BearMUN 2025. Hence, BearMUN 2025 permits delegations and delegates to petition for a registration fee reduction on a need-based case-by-case basis. To apply for a fee reduction, please reach out to [email].
Additionally, the BearMUN Secretariat is willing to offer subsidization grants to schools and delegates with extenuating circumstances that may prevent their attendance at BearMUN. To apply for subsidization, reach out to [email]. Please note that BearMUN may be unable to fulfill your request.
Position Allocations
Please note that delegations will only receive the allocation request form after completing registration. Allocations will only be sent after proof of payment is submitted. If you have any extenuating circumstances, please reach out to [email].
Payment Procedure:
All transactions must be paid through Venmo or check
Venmo: pay the total cost of your registration to @UCBMUN_club with “BearMUN” in the comments.
Check: Do not make the check out to “BearMUN;” instead, make the check out to “UC Berkeley Model United Nations” and please send a picture of the front and back of the check to [email] prior to mailing and mail it to:
