Abby Lee Dance Company, 2015
Novice, Single Delegate
The Abby Lee Dance Company is on shaky ground as Abby faces serious legal trouble for bankruptcy fraud, and everyone is wondering what comes next. With Candy Apples looking to take the spotlight and rumors swirling about the original girls leaving, the future of the team is uncertain. Delegates will dive into the chaos, handling rivalries, pressure to win, and drama brewing amongst the dance moms. This is your chance to shape the next chapter of ALDC. Will you protect the legacy, let it all fall apart, or make a Candy Apples Dance Company hybrid?

Hi everyone, my name is Valerie Mondragon (she/her/hers) is a second-year at UC Berkeley studying Astrophysics and Political Science. I grew up in Littlerock, CA, and I love the Mexican food there. In high school, I dabbled in mock trials and student government. I wanted to continue my love for public speaking, so I joined UCBMUN the fall of my freshman year. After my first competition, I fell in love with the humor and community in MUN. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, solving New York Times crossword puzzles, and watching anything spooky. I am looking forward to chairing the Dance Moms committee! I grew up in the dance world myself so Dance Moms was always extra entertaining. I can’t wait to see how you and your fellow delegates play out the drama and obstacles in committee. I am excited to meet everyone and help make BearMUN incredible!

Hello, my name is Maddie and I’m super excited to serve as a Co-Chair for this committee! I’m going into my second year at Cal, looking to major in Buisness, Psychology, and Cognitive Science. I’ve been doing MUN since 5th grade, and actually was in your shoes as a BearMUN attendee not too long ago. Currently, I compete in conferences with the UCBMUN team and work every summer teaching MUN to high schoolers! I have been a dancer since 5 years old, so was obsessed with Dance Mom’s growing up, and am hyped to see how the dynamics I watched for so long play out in committee. Outside of MUN and dance, I love to thrift, eat good food, sing, and play the drums! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything. Looking forward to seeing some passionate and strategic debate!
