Night at the Museum
Novice, Single Delegate
When the sun sets on the New York Natural History Museum, not everything is as it seems — animated with the power of a magical ancient tablet, the exhibitions come to life each night.
But the tablet has been stolen, hidden somewhere within the museum. There is a traitor among the exhibitions, and it is up to historical figures across time to come together to find and restore the tablet to its rightful place.
As delegates of this committee, you will be tasked with working collaboratively to create a joint effort to search for the Tablet of Ahkmenrah to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands, while dealing with your conflicting perspectives as historical figures from vastly different eras. Only time will tell if you will be able to rightfully restore the museum’s key artifact, securing its magic, or if it will be lost forever…

Hello delegates!
My name is Ava Volman, and I will be your chair for the Night at the Museum committee. This committee has so many possible directions it might take — whether it be through dynamic crisis arcs or carefully-planned directives — and I look forward to seeing how you decide to conquer each night at the museum!
I’ve been doing MUN since my sophomore year of high school, and began collegiate MUN the fall of my freshman year. While I love the competitive side of MUN, my favorite part is the community I’ve made (shoutout Starr my great-grandniece). I’ve participated in several collegiate conferences as a crisis delegate, and I love the creativity behind crisis committees, so I encourage you all to use your imaginations!
I’m a sophomore at Cal, and I study English as well as Conservation and Resource Studies. Apart from MUN, I’m involved in the Daily Californian as a news staffer. I love literature, writing, spending time outdoors and a good matcha. I’m looking forward to joining you all for what’s going to be a fantastic weekend and committee!

My name is Ava Reyes, and I will be one of your chairs. A bit about me: I am a third year student, double majoring in Political Science and Rhetoric. My passion for politics has extended beyond the classroom as a World Section Editor for the Berkeley Political Review and internal vice president of an international relations fraternity. I’m also involved with the pickleball club, youth basketball coaching, and salsa club! I’m a history buff, so I’m super excited about this committee and where you will take it! I’m looking forward to sharing my passion for politics and Night at the Museum!

Dear Delegates,
My name is Starr Wilkens, and I’m super excited to be your Crisis Director for the Night at the Museum Committee. The Night at the Museum movie is a classic, and I remember thinking it was hilarious every time I watched it when I was younger. It’s a movie full of quirky and chaotic characters, so I urge you to be as creative and collaborative as possible!
I started MUN my spring semester of junior year and had so much fun as an ACD for our college conference. I’m now a USG of Crisis for our college conference and, of course, your CD. MUN has been a great creative outlet for me, and I love all the amazing people I have met in the club and at other conferences.
I have two more years left at Cal (will be a super senior), and I double major in Global Studies and Cognitive Science. In the future I hope to be a diplomat and do work internationally. I love to travel, learn other languages, and work with people, so this job is perfect. Apart from MUN, I’m also in Delta Phi Epsilon and a Chief of Staff for an ASUC senator-elect. In my free time I like to skateboard and scroll on Instagram reels.
I look forward to seeing where you all take this committee, and I wish you luck!
Best,
Starr Wilkens, Crisis Director
