Escape from Roblox
Advanced, Single Delegate
Welcome to the Roblox Committee, where a digital dream has turned into a global crisis. Several of the world’s most famous figures—from presidents and pop stars to scientists and athletes—are mysteriously trapped inside Roblox during a high-profile VR launch gone wrong. As delegates, you’ll step into their roles and navigate bizarre virtual landscapes, uncover hidden threats, and work together to escape before the game collapses. Along the way, you’ll face ethical dilemmas about data, platform responsibility, and the dangers of immersive tech. Fast-paced, unpredictable, and packed with sci-fi intrigue, this committee asks: can humanity’s brightest minds outwit the very code they’re trapped in?

Hello! My name is Rishit Pradhan, and I’m a 3rd-year Chemical Biology major at UC Berkeley. I’m from the incredible city of Bakersfield, and outside of classes on niche reaction mechanisms, you can usually find me going on various “side-quests”, making people laugh (allegedly), or getting way too excited about oddly specific topics like boats or hypothetical scenarios. I’ve always enjoyed things that let me blend creativity with structure, which is probably what drew me to crisis in the first place.
This year, I’ll be serving as your Chair for a committee that’s definitely one of the more unconventional ones we’ve come up with. The concept is wild, the pace will be fast, and the room will be full of unexpected moments—which is exactly the kind of environment I love. I’m really looking forward to seeing how each of you brings your own voice and ideas to the table. Whether you’re bold, chaotic, quiet, strategic, or something in between, there’s room for it all here.
I’m excited to meet you, work with you, and see where this goes. Let’s make it a good one.Rishit Pradhan rishit_pradhan@berkeley.edu

Hello! My name is Katie Tran, and I am a 3rd year at UC Berkeley (Go Bears!) studying Psychology and Education. I am from sunny Southern California’s wonderful Orange County, and with that comes my generic love for shopping trips, boba runs, and cafe-hopping. My affinity for Model UN can only be surpassed by my trench-like deep love for matcha. As a “pro-gamer” myself, heh, glasses glint and smirk, I perchance could have possibly been level 121 on Roblox’s famous Murder Mystery game. It used to feel like a bigger number back in my day. I’ve always enjoyed Roblox and my favorites recently are the “Find the ___” series games. I’m thrilled to be serving as your Crisis Director for this thrilling and unpredictable adventure as the game becomes reality. Whether you’re a master builder or a pro parkour artis, this committee may face fast-paced twists, high-stakes decision-making, and a metaverse in meltdown. I am so ready to watch you, the delegate, think creatively, act boldly, and adapt quickly; nothing is off-limits when a crisis strikes!
See you! katieqtr@berkeley.edu
